Explore Ambury Regional Park, which sits on ash-covered lava flows from the eruption of nearby Mangere Mountain 18,000 years ago, and enjoy the views to Manukau Heads and Waitakere Ranges. Marvel at the views back to Auckland City with its volcanoes. Continue on to the summit of Mangere Mountain, the volcano in the same area of Auckland as our international airport. After admiring the view from there, continue on to One Tree Hill in Cornwall Park for an amazing view over Auckland City and region.

This South Auckland Volcano Tour is suited to those wanting to experience a different side of Auckland and for especially for those that only have limited time in our fabulous city during a stopover to another international or domestic destination. Timeframe for our South Auckland Volcano half day tours:
Our half–day Auckland Guided Tours of South Auckland’s Volcanoes are 4 hours in duration and operate twice daily from 9am to 1pm and from 1pm to 5pm.
