Ceillhe wins Annual Lake Pupuke (Auckland) Trout Fishing Competition T.I.M.E. (To Integrate Maori Experiences) Unlimited NZ Tours & Travel Director Ceillhe Sperath recently won the annual Lake Pupuke Trout Fishing Competition. Many anglers tried their luck from the shore or from boats, with lures or with flies. As it turned out, we were right on the mark with our Kayak Fishing tactic, trolling a lure behind a leadline. We landed 3 nice Trout, one of which at just over 2 pounds turned out to be the largest fish! Check out our Kayak Fishing Tours here. Back to the top

Our Research Trip to Stewart Island We recently visited Aotearoa / New Zealand’s third Island, Stewart Island, to walk the famous Rakiura Track and to research for potential tourism businesses to partner our tours with. In both missions we were successful. We have now completed our 5th of New Zealand’s 9 Great Walks with more to come. For us the highlight – apart from soaking in the spa bath afterwards - was surely the amazing birdlife we encountered. Stewart Island is a real treasure and we have decided to play our part in its conservation. As a company, we have decided to sponsor the conservation and environmental management of a hectare of this Island Paradise and the great work that is done there. German Trade Delegation April 2008 We recently had the honour of having the opportunity to plan and fully guide an important German Government and Trade Delegation in association with the New Zealand German Business Association. We thoroughly enjoyed hosting the 14 delegates on our Half-Day Tour through Auckland, followed a few days later by a whirlwind 2-day tour from Christchurch around the South Island. We flew from Christchurch to Queenstown, where we visited various sights in Queenstown, Glenorchy, Paradise (yes, of course it’s in New Zealand) and the Queenstown Skyline Gondola. The following day we flew on a cloudless day to breathtaking Milford Sound, followed by a 1 ½ hour cruise and a flight back to Queenstown. Lunch at a Winery followed, as well as a drive through some of the most spectacular scenery in the world through Lindis Pass, past Aoraki/Mount Cook (3754m) and Lake Tekapo. Dinner at a boutique hotel in Christchurch rounded off a very enjoyable tour, before the delegates flew on to Australia the next day. P.S.: The top 100 destinations in the world were recently chosen by millions of users on the website www.tripadvisor.com. In 1st and 2nd place were Milford Sound and Queenstown, respectively! What’s next for us? - Further large investment in brand-new equipment for our tours for the coming season.
- We just entered into the prestigious Westpac North Shore Business Excellence Awards 2008, after being a finalist in the Tourism category and receiving a Special Commendation Award as Best Start-Up Business in 2007.
- Our tours operate 364 days a year and we are looking forward to another busy summer, for which we are preparing at present.
- In line with our Environmental Policy, we are currently looking at becoming Green Globe benchmarked and we have started the process along this worthwhile path.
We think you will find periodic updates from us informative and interesting. We plan to send out a newsletter on average about 4 times per year going forward and would be delighted if you could remain on our mailing list, as well as forwarding on to your networks for them to subscribe to our newsletter list.
